United Medical Institute is proud to support UMI Community Imaging Clinic whose mission is to provide free diagnostic and screening ultrasound to under-served members of Sacramento community and to advance clinical training opportunities for diagnostic medical sonography students.
UMI Clinic is a nonprofit public charity organization (501C (3)) and a member of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. it has signed Memorandums of Understanding with several local community clinics, including Shifa Community Clinic, Saha Health Center, and One Community Health clinic.
UMI CLINIC IS NOW ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. NO INSURANCE REQUIRED AND NO PATIENT WILL EVER BE TURNED AWAY FOR INABILITY TO PAY!
The clinic sees patients on the premises of United Medical Institute every Friday. UMI Students-volunteers provide administrative support to the clinic. Eligible sonography students have an opportunity to observe and participate in diagnostic and screening ultrasound procedures under close supervision of credentialed sonographers.
