Advance Your Sonography Career in
Diagnostic Medical Sonography

UMI's Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is designed for graduates of Diagnostic Medical Sonography diploma and associate degree programs who want to advance their education while continuing to work in the profession.

The program allows students to build on their previous sonography education while developing advanced knowledge in healthcare leadership, research, professional communication, and evidence-based practice.

Designed for working sonographers, the program combines flexible online coursework with a 480-hour professional internship that may be completed through qualifying employment or an approved clinical setting. With eligible transfer credit, students may complete the bachelor's degree requirements in approximately 12–18 months.
