United Medical Institute offers AS and BS degree programs in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (medical ultrasound) for students throughout Florida. Students throughout Florida may enroll in UMI's Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs.

Associate of Science students complete faculty-led clinical education at UMI's FloridaTeaching Partner Clinic in Greater Orlando, Florida before progressing to affiliated clinical sites.

Bachelor of Science students complete their internship from anywhere in Florida through their employer or another approved healthcare facility.

Designed for practicing sonographers and graduates of diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound programs, UMI's Bachelor of Science completion program develops advanced clinical knowledge, leadership, communication, and professional skills. Florida students may complete the program from anywhere in the state while fulfilling internship requirements through their employer or another approved healthcare facility.

UMI's Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Eligible graduates may pursue ARRT Sonography certification upon meeting ARRT certification requirements.
