Diagnostic Medical Sonography
UMI’s Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is designed for students beginning their education and career in ultrasound.
The program combines online academic coursework with hands-on clinical education at UMI Teaching Partner Clinics, beginning during the first week of the program.
Students develop knowledge and hands-on scanning skills in abdominal, obstetric and gynecologic, and vascular sonography while gaining the clinical experience needed to transition from student to professional sonographer.
