Congratulations to Simran Kaur, a DMS student at United Medical Institute, for becoming the First Prize Winner of UMI Sonographia 2022 competition!
Three panels of judges participated in casting their votes. The panels consisted of 5 independent experts, 3 UMI faculty, and 9 student-peers. The overall winner receives a one-year student membership sponsorship with Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and a canvas with the winning image will be added to the UMI Sonographia gallery at the UMI campus.
In addition to Simran Kaur, Sonographia 2022 finalists included Tung "Aaron" Chu, Shawna Fox, Kiran Basra, and Brooklyn Say.
