#Sonographia, UMI Student Scanning Competition results are in!
Eleven members of Sonographia jury panel of professional sonographers nationwide reviewed and ranked UMI Sonographia finalists. Based on jury ranking, the following are the winners of Sonographia 2019.
1st Prize Winner Award goes to Veronica Villarica. Ms. Villarica's winning image is displayed as cover of the gallery. As the 1st prize winner, Ms. Villarica will receive a scholarship equivalent to one year of #SDMS student membership; a custom canvas with her winning image will be added to UMI Sonographia gallery at the UMI campus.
2nd Place Awards are shared by Ramanpreet Sandhu and Peter Stukov.
Technical Merit Award recipients for one or more of the following categories: Annotation, Artifacts, AIUM, Clarity of Image are: Silvia Rodriguez, Kelley Derner, and Suzana Collazo.
