UMI Faculty review textbooks and other resources at least once a year. Textbooks may be updated for the latest edition or changed to a different textbook if it is deemed a better and more effective resource. Any textbook updates and changes are communicated to the students at least a few weeks prior to the term when such changes are implemented.

The prices listed reflect the information taken from the publisher’s website at the time the list is updated and may change without notice. The publisher may also have coupons and/or other discounts and special offers available. Students are not required to purchase textbooks from the publisher. Look for best prices on Amazon or other book sellers when available.

Reference books and resources are listed in each course syllabus. Unless otherwise stated, such reference books are optional and students are not required to purchase them. Many resources are available online.

Our curriculum includes UMI-approved courses through a third-party online provider. While textbooks are generally not required, some courses may necessitate a subscription for access with the course provider. Total costs vary based on individual completion pace.
