UMI & UC DAVIS STUDENTS PARTNER UP TO SERVE PATIENTS IN NEED

UMI Community Imaging Clinic and UMI Externs welcome the first patient from Clínica Tepati, a student-run primary care clinic of University of California, Davis. We loved meeting Tepati's referring physician and the student - volunteer who accompanied the patient to the free diagnostic ultrasound procedures performed by UMI externs, Ban Phan, Ashley Lewis, and Veronica Villarica under the supervision of UMI Clinic's Clinical Director, Dr. Zia Yama. We cherish our partnerships with community clinics who share the mission of serving the community and advancing students' clinical education.
