Angeles M Perez-Agosto Bio

 

In 2014, Prof. Perez-Agosto  became only the second person in Puerto Rico and one of only six hundred professionals worldwide to obtain RMSK (Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer)  credentials with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

 

Prof. Perez also holds her ARDMS credentials in RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonogrpher) and RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) in addition to her MBA and a BS in Cardiovascular Medical Sonography.

Prof. Perez-Agosto is a recognized expert in general sonographic studies, cardiovascular, interventional procedures, and musculoskeletal adult and pediatric ultrasound.

​

She is currently a Senior Clinical Application Specialist for GE Healthcare in South Central of Texas where she develops training for medical professionals in the new sonographic technologies and the new trends in General, Cardiovascular, and MSK ultrasound.

 

Prof. Perez holds numerous continuing education certificates in sonography, including ultrasound guidance in regional anesthesia, ultrasound guidance in vascular access, ultrasound in the evaluation of therapy in the venous system, skills in the interpretation of vascular studies, Emergency Ultrasound and Critical Care Ultrasound, among others.

 

Prof. Perez regularly presents at various conventions and professional conferences as a speaker faculty. Her recent engagements include conventions and seminars at the Radiological Society of PR and PR chapter ACR (American College of Radiology) in Puerto Rico.

As part of her current role at GE Healthcare, she conducts and supports new hires and customers MSK training. 

 

She conducts numerous training workshops in general, vascular, and MSK ultrasound workshops such as MSK Ultrasound, Nerve Ultrasound at Philips Healthcare Puerto Rico, and Vascular Sonography workshop at Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute.
